Jacob's Well has provided practical, Biblical teaching, seminars and counseling
ministry to the body of Christ since the early 70's when it began as a street
ministry in downtown Kitchener. In the late 70's, the Lord began to lay on our
hearts a burden to see His work of healing and deliverance in the souls of
wounded people. Giving us Isaiah 61:1-7 as a promise, we have had the
"afflicted", "brokenhearted", "captives & prisoners" through our ministry, and
have seen many leave with "a garland instead of ashes", "the oil of gladness
instead of mourning" and "a mantle of praise instead of heaviness." God keeps
His promises.
Our commitment and vision now as then remain the same: bringing freedom
to those who have been ensnared by the enemy.
What an awesome God we serve! There is no God that can be compared to
Him. It's great that we can be part of what He is doing on Planet Earth.
